You will be working alongside our inspiring and supportive team whilst contributing to teaching, student support and the development of placement area. The role is key to enhancing the current programmes and contributing to the new curriculum. The fundamental purpose of this role is preparing students for practice and ensuring they have the best opportunities and experiences available. It will ensure that effective links with practice are maintained, working closely with students, practice partners and practice assessors and supervisors. It will play a pivotal role in creating new placement capacity, quality assurance of placement opportunities through audit processes. The successful applicant will work closely with the academic teams and practice partners to deal with any issues/challenges arising from placement. It will involve teaching clinical skills, mandatory training, accurate completion of assessment documents (for both students and practice staff), which are all essential for preparing students for placement. This exciting opportunity is suitable for anyone who has experience of teaching or anyone wishing to begin a career in academia and brings with them contemporary knowledge from practice.
