Nursing Apprenticeships are a growing subject area within the Faculty of Health Sciences at The University of Hull. We are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic and experienced Portfolio Tutor with specific knowledge and expertise in adult nursing to provide teaching and Apprenticeship portfolio support for our Adult Nursing and Nursing Associate Apprenticeships.

This post will also involve conducting quarterly reviews, clinical skills teaching, academic assessment, portfolio development workshops, academic and pastoral supervision of nursing and nursing associate apprentices and will also include practice placements and scholarship. The post holder will have experience in teaching and learning and will meet the essential criteria outlined in the person specification. You will hold a minimum of a BSc (or other postgraduate qualification) and be registered as an adult nurse with the Nursing and Midwifery Council. You will be required to travel between clinical placement areas throughout the Yorkshire and Humber region.

You should have good organisational, inter-personal, and communication skills, a student-centred approach, and have a passion for work-based learning as well as continued professional development.
