We are looking to appoint an enthusiastic academic colleague to join our team to deliver contemporary and engaging teaching to our students, underpinned by knowledge and experience in your field.
This is an exciting opportunity to teach on our successful BSc paramedic programme with a curriculum that encompasses a wide range of subject content relevant to multiple health care sectors. This includes midwifery, nursing, mental health, social work, and primary and urgent care. Applications will therefore be welcomed from paramedics and other registered health care professionals with teaching experience relevant to these areas within our curriculum.
The postholder will be required to teach across a range of modules on the paramedic course, with the potential for teaching across wider health courses in the School of Allied health and Community and will support students via tutorials as a Personal Academic Tutor (PAT).
The School of Allied Health and Community has an exceptional reputation for excellence and the successful candidates will further develop the quality of our provision through strong collaboration with our practice partners. The Department of Paramedic Science and Physician Associates is one of four departments in the School. In addition, the School offers Foundations Degrees in Health and Social Care, Undergraduate courses in Health and Social Care, Occupational Therapy, Physiotherapy and Social work and Masters’ courses in Nutritional therapy and the Physician Associate.
