The Open University (OU) is seeking to appoint two lecturers/senior lecturers in Nursing/ACP to join the School of Health Wellbeing and Social Care. Key responsibilities will include the delivery of the ACP, pre-registration nursing and trainee nursing associate programmes.
The successful applicants will contribute to teaching on a range of modules across our nursing and ACP programmes. As we move to integrate more closely ACP with nursing, there will be opportunity to teach across our many qualifications although it is primarily intended that appointee to Post 1 will focus on ACP provision, whilst Post 2 appointee will teach primarily to nursing provision.
The ideal candidates must demonstrate excellent oral and written competencies and interpersonal skills. They should have teaching experience within higher education or an education role and a minimum of a Master’s degree for AC3 appointment or PhD for AC4 appointment with a relevant existing or developing research profile. Registration with relevant regulatory bodies is essential for both posts.
