About you: We are seeking enthusiastic, inspiring individuals to join our successful and highly committed nursing team. Successful candidates will join a visionary department to fulfil our aims and contribute to our continued success, and will be dynamic; adaptable; innovative and creative. Integral to our achievements are activities which enhance the student experience through innovative teaching, learning and assessment strategies. The team participate in teaching, assessing and supporting pre and post registration multi-professional learners from across the South West of England. Inclusive of this is supporting learners in practice through our academic in practice teams.
Successful candidates will have a high level of insight into contemporary community, primary, acute or urgent care practice as well as experience in healthcare leadership, clinical, practice-based education and experience of teaching and assessment in higher, further or continuing education. Knowledge of contemporary theories and concepts that underpin advanced practice and adult nursing education is essential.
Applicants must be registered on the Nursing and Midwifery Council’s (NMC) Register. Ideally, individuals will hold a first degree as a minimum and a relevant post-graduate certificate in higher education and be willing to work towards a Masters.
This post is based at our Glenside Campus.
