The School of Nursing, Midwifery and Health are seeking to recruit enthusiastic and ambitious HCPC registered Occupational Therapist to join our dynamic team of academics delivering excellent and visionary pre-registration occupational therapy courses. We have been successful in growing our provision and due to recent promotions within the team are seeking to recruit a Lecturer to work within our academic team supporting our learners across our range of courses.
For the Lecturer post, applicants should demonstrate a wide range of clinical experience and experience of supporting students and delivering education. You will work alongside an experienced academic team delivering high quality education. You will be joining an outstanding team of over 40 occupational therapists, and we offer a range of courses including BSc, MSc and Integrated Degree Apprenticeships in Coventry and London.
We are proud that our BSc Occupational Therapy course is placed 10th in the UK (Complete University Guide 2019) and Coventry University is placed 13th in the UK University league tables (Guardian 2019). In addition to this the University has been awarded Gold for outstanding Teaching and Learning (TEF 2017) and named ‘University of the Year for Student Experience’ (The Times and The Sunday Times Good University Guide 2019).
Our occupational therapy team are one of the largest in the country and work collaboratively with a wide range of health care professions within the Faculty of Health and Life sciences and now benefit from new, ‘state of the art’ health science simulation facilities, a £60M+ investment. The salary is dependent upon the skills and qualifications of the individual. Job descriptions will be available upon request from the Human Resources Department when applying for the post.
