The innovative MSci Nursing Programme, a centrepiece of our educational provision, prepares students for nurse leadership which promotes and sustains excellence in health and social care. The programme, developed collaboratively with practice partners and members of the Patient and Public Involvement group, is built around 7 Pillars of Learning. It has the option of dual registration in adult and mental health nursing and aims to provide students with the best possible learning experiences – in clinical practice and on campus.

To lead and develop exemplary clinical practice learning for our nursing students, we are seeking an exceptional Lecturer with the vision and knowledge to match ours. The successful candidate will have responsibility for creating high quality clinical practice learning experiences in collaboration with practice partners.

The successful candidate will work with the Academy of Nursing’s Practice Lead and Associate Dean of Education to ensure the efficient and effective delivery of teaching programmes in accord with the College’s education strategy, the curriculum and regulatory requirements.

This post is primarily to support research informed teaching activities in the area of nursing practice. In particular they will manage and expand income-generating programme leadership and management of the design and development of the overall curricula and significant contribution to the leadership and management of the development of teaching and learning strategies and academic standards for nursing.
