This role provides a rare and exciting opportunity to join a motivated and innovative team of individuals, committed to the delivery of high-quality clinical education and related research activity. You will be based within the multi-professional School of Health Sciences, a vibrant and collaborative community, encompassing a variety of Allied Health Professions and Nursing programmes.
We are looking for an experienced and innovative healthcare academic with relevant experience in post-graduate teaching (PGT), curricula design and development. The post requires an individual with well-developed leadership, communication, and organisational skills, capable of effective inter-professional and cross boundary working. The successful candidate will work across the PGT portfolio and lead on the development, provision and organisation of the School’s CPD portfolio.
You should hold registration with the NMC or HCPC in addition to a recognised teaching qualification and have educational experience of teaching at level 7 in a higher education institution. Knowledge of issues affecting workforce educational needs and a strong collaborative approach to learning design and delivery are essential. You should possess a master’s degree in a relevant subject and evidence of undertaking professional CPD. In addition, you will need to demonstrate evidence of research and scholarly activity within healthcare education. You may be required to travel to different localities within the region, when required, to liaise with clinical partners.
