The Department of Health (includes Nursing and Physiotherapy) is looking to recruit a motivated, innovative and enthusiastic physiotherapist, to work as a Lecturer in Physiotherapy to teach and assess students on the pre-registration physiotherapy programmes (including the apprenticeship programme), and other programmes delivered by the Department in Health.

In this role, the successful applicant will use their specialist clinical knowledge and experience to teach and assess students in our new, purpose-built facilities in Moss House and the Health, Skills and Simulation Suite where students can be exposed to simulation-based education using a range of patient simulators, virtual reality equipment and immersive video technology, https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=id5xwZI5VEA

The successful candidate will possess a thorough understanding of their specialist area of physiotherapy practice and be able to demonstrate research and evidence-informed practice within that area.

You will have experience of teaching students, either within a university or as a clinical educator, and be educated to Degree Level with current registration with the HCPC.

The successful candidate will be supported to undertake professional development to enhance teaching and learning, including the achievement of a recognised teaching qualification if not already held.
