The purpose of this post is to contribute to and support the development and delivery of teaching, research and other scholarly activities in paramedic and nursing courses at undergraduate and post graduate levels and contribute to the University’s key goals and associated Faculty and School Plans. The post holder will also be involved in the preparation of pre-registration paramedics and nurses in adult and mental health nursing and will be advisor of studies for allocated students. They will also have input into other undergraduate and postgraduate courses within the School. The post holder will provide paramedic and pre hospital emergency services subject expertise input into teaching and research activities within the School and Research Institute activities. They will work with other members of the School of Nursing and Paramedic Science, practice-based learning partners, local community groups and students to develop opportunities to develop the scholarship of teaching and learning, research and civic activities.

Staff appointed are responsible to the Head of School for the satisfactory performance of their duties, but report on a day-to-day basis to the relevant Academic Leads. All staff are expected to contribute to the range of activities within the School.
