Are you an experienced NHS professional looking for a change of direction, perhaps you’re someone interested in education but are looking to continue in your current role in practice or maybe an academic looking to join a “Teaching Intensive, Research Informed” higher education institution whilst being based in North Devon?
As a result of our ongoing success in providing nurse education and due to the expansion of our provision at our partner Satellite college, we are looking to recruit a number of part-time lecturers in Nursing. The roles will be based at Petroc College, Barnstaple (North Devon).
Our staff are at the heart of everything we do: they are highly qualified and experienced in their fields, supporting their teaching practice by carrying out quality research and engaging in continuous professional development. Staff pride themselves on being outstanding professionals that provide excellent learning, teaching and applied research and support in the provision of custom-designed, industry led courses in numerous subject areas.
From the moment you join us, we will provide the relevant opportunities and support to gain the relevant teaching and academic qualifications that will be essential. Key duties will be to contribute to the teaching and delivery of undergraduate and taught postgraduate nursing programmes, including the academic and personal support of students.
All we ask in return is that you are registered as a nurse with the Nursing & Midwifery Council (NMC) and have a degree level qualification.
Why not register for our recruitment open day/evening on Tuesday 1 November (2-5pm) and/or Wednesday 2 November (5-8pm) to find out more? For an informal chat about the opportunities or to book a place, please contact Simon Booth, Employee Experience & Resourcing Officer on 01204 903503.
To apply, please submit your CV along with a short covering letter (no more than two-sides of A4 font size 12) explaining your suitability for the role to jobs@bolton.ac.uk
