The School of Health and Life Sciences is a multidisciplinary School, with a diverse range of programmes delivered at our Ayr, Dumfries, Lanarkshire, London and Paisley campuses to a combined total of around 6000 students.

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Lecturer (with an Independent/Supplementary prescriber [V300] qualification) to join the Advanced Clinical Practitioner Programme and Prescribing Team within the Midwifery & Specialist Nursing Division, engaging in teaching, learning and assessment activities, in addition to wider academic activities such as research, consultancy and CPD. Undertaking research, development and/ or scholarship to enhance teaching will be encouraged.

As the successful candidate, you will join a progressive team of individuals currently supporting delivery of our postgraduate MSc Advanced Clinical Practitioner Programme and non-medical prescribing provision across the Division of Midwifery & Specialist Nursing. You will have previous experience of delivering modules/programmes within the field of health/adult nursing/non-medical prescribing/specialist nursing, and be practised in contemporary teaching, learning and assessment methods. NMC/HCPC Professional registration is required.

The post will be based at Lanarkshire Campus, and report into the Midwifery & Specialist Nursing Division.
