This is an exciting opportunity to join our Academic team who are highly dedicated and committed to delivering cutting edge professional education in partnership with students and our clinical colleagues. The team has a range of skills and knowledge in research, education and clinical specialities and this post provides excellent opportunities for collaboration and inter-professional learning and working. The School is proactive and responsive working collaboratively with stakeholders building upon its existing excellent pre-registration undergraduate, post registration undergraduate and post graduate programmes.

We are seeking to appoint a talented Lecturer in Mental Health Nursing who will contribute to the Nursing programmes and, where appropriate, other programmes within the School portfolio. You may be considering your first appointment as a Lecturer in Higher Education – we would be happy to discuss options around this appointment prior to application if this would be useful.

You should hold current registration with the NMC as a Mental Health Nurse and hold a Degree/Postgraduate Diploma/**Master’s degree in a health related subject, alongside appropriate experience. In addition, you will also have experience of supporting pre-registration nursing students in a higher education and/or practice setting.
