UCS is one of the UK’s newest and most exciting higher education institutions, having launched in 2007 in a unique collaboration with the University of East Anglia and University of Essex. UCS provides students and staff with a friendly, can-do and ambitious context. Working with partners, UCS is focused on making a high impact at local, national and international level.
UCS’ Department of Nursing Studies is expanding its pre-registration provision to meet the increased commissions for adult nursing and currently supports around 600 student FTE studying pre and post-registration nursing programmes in Adult, Child Health and Mental Health Nursing.
The Department has an ambitious vision for the future and to help us achieve it we are seeking a Lecturer and a Senior Lecturer in Adult Nursing to join the team. The successful candidates will be experienced practitioners who are passionate about education, research and their contributions to delivering high quality services.
Contemporary experience of adult nursing, working in partnership with service users and their carers, and teaching students in clinical practice is essential; along with motivation and the ability to innovate to help drive our adult pre-registration curriculum across UCS. Current registration with the Nursing and Midwifery Council as an Adult Nurse is required.
