Nursing is a growing subject area within the Faculty of Health Sciences at The University of Hull. We are seeking to appoint 2 enthusiastic and experienced Lecturers in Acute Care Nursing to work with the Nursing Department and NHS partners to support the curriculum development and delivery of both the traditional and Apprenticeship variants of the Adult Nursing programmes. These posts will require specific teaching in relation to clinical skills aligned to the Nursing and Midwifery Standards for Education for Nurses (2018). You will develop the academic curriculum and provide teaching support for complimentary programmes within our portfolio. The post will also involve the supervision of undergraduate and postgraduate students, including practice placements and research. The post holder will have experience in teaching and learning and will meet the essential criteria outlined in the person specification. You will hold a minimum of a BSc (or other postgraduate qualification) and be an adult nurse registered with the Nursing and Midwifery Council.

You should have good organisational, inter-personal, and communication skills, a student-centred approach, and have a passion for research and enterprise activities as well as continued professional development.
