The School of Health and Life Sciences is a multidisciplinary School, with a diverse range of programmes delivered at our Ayr, Dumfries, Lanarkshire, London and Paisley campuses to a combined total of around 6000 students.

Opportunities have arisen for lecturers to join the School, where teaching and research are at the heart of all the School’s activities. The ability to contribute to module and programme development will be integral to this post, along with engagement in wider academic activities such as research, consultancy and CPD. Undertaking research, development and/ or scholarship to enhance teaching will be encouraged.

The successful candidates will have experience of supporting learners in a health and social care environment. You will join a progressive team of individuals currently supporting delivery of our undergraduate and postgraduate Adult Nursing and Operating Department Practice provision within the Division of Adult Nursing & Healthcare. Appointment will be made at a salary level appropriate to the successful candidate’s experience and career stage with role requirements commensurate with expertise and experience.
