University College Birmingham is looking for a talented, experienced, and driven academic to join our rapidly growing Department of Healthcare Workforce Development & Apprenticeship as the Head of Department.

Over the past 2 and half years, the provision of Nursing apprenticeship programmes within the Department has grown significantly, as well as a very successful pre-registration Physiotherapy apprenticeship. We are now at a point where we have an ambitious plan to grow and diversify our provision further

If you are an experienced academic with a track record of developing curriculum and an appreciation of the role of apprenticeships in the health care sector and workforce then this is an exciting time to join us. It will afford you the opportunity to work with a growing team, within a School committed to working inter professionally, as we well as developing new provision with outstanding teaching facilities.
