UWE Bristol, School of Health and Social Wellbeing is seeking a Field External Examiners to support Specialist Community Public Health Nursing Programme within the Field of Health Community and Policy Studies. The post will be for 4 years commencing on 01/03/2025 and includes the need to attend various examination boards.
Essential: Applicants must be registered with the Nursing and Midwifery Council.
The subject cluster requires Field External Examiners to represent a range of academic perspectives within the subject area. The programme is going through validation against the new standards, the current portfolio consists of some of the following modules:
• Leadership and Enterprise
• Principles of Evidence Based Public Health
• Professional Perspectives in Specialist Community Public Health Nursing
• Promoting the Health of School-Aged Children in the Community
• Public Health and Health Promotion
• V100 Prescribing Practice
• Workplace Health and Wellbeing
Please note, some of the portfolio may be delivered at our Collaborative Partners.
We particularly encourage applications from members of Black and Minority Ethnic communities, as this group is currently underrepresented among external examiners.
