UWE Bristol, School of Health and Social Wellbeing is seeking a Field External Examiners to support Public Health Nursing Programme within the Field of Health Community and Policy Studies. The post will be for 4 years commencing on 01/10/2024 and includes the need to attend various examination boards.
The subject cluster requires Field External Examiners to represent a range of academic perspectives within the subject area. The programme is going through validation against the new standards, the current portfolio consists of some of the following modules:
• Contemporary Debates in Lifestyle Behaviours and Public Health
• Creating Sustainable Behaviour Change
• Epidemiology of Non-Communicable Diseases
• Health Protection
• Leadership for Public Health
• Public Health Economics
• Public Health Policy and Politics
• Qualitative Health Research
Please note, some of the portfolio may be delivered at our Collaborative Partners.
We particularly encourage applications from members of Black and Minority Ethnic communities, as this group is currently underrepresented among external examiners.
