UWE Bristol, School of Health and Social Wellbeing, is seeking a Field External Examiner. The post will be for 4 years commencing on 1st September 2025.
Essential: Applicants must be a Registered Child and Young Person Nurse with the Nursing and Midwifery Council (NMC).
The subject cluster requires a Field External Examiner to represent a range of academic perspectives in the Field of Child and Young People Nursing and the portfolio will cover some of the following modules:
• Care of the Child and Young Person with Cancer
• Enhancing Practice in Palliative Care for Children, Young People and Families
• Episodes of Care 2
• Episodes of Care 2 (Apprenticeship)/ Applied Episodes of Care 2
• Palliative Care for Children, Young People and Their Families
Please note, your final portfolio may require you to cover modules beyond this specific professional area. Some of the modules also include examining those delivered at our collaborative provision partners and therefore, familiarity with collaborative provision/partnerships is desirable.
