External Reviewer to support University curriculum design review – School of Health Sciences PGT and CPD programme framework

This is a virtual asynchronous paperwork review to be conducted Jan-March 2024

The School of Health Sciences is looking to recruit an expert Healthcare reviewer to provide subject specific feedback to the university curriculum review panel, who will be reviewing the programme provision for the School of Health Sciences Postgraduate Taught programmes and CPD module framework.

Essential criteria: The reviewer will need to have experience in the design and delivery of Masters level Healthcare practice programmes; ideally with Programme Lead or Head of Department level experience.

The reviewer will be required to review a self-evaluation narrative document, alongside programme and module descriptors, and provide feedback to the central university programme team against identified criteria.

The programmes to be included within this section of the review are:

  • MSc Heathcare Practice
  • BSc Healthcare Practice
  • MA Education for Health Professionals
  • PG Certificate Education for Health Professionals
  • MSc Advanced Clinical Practice
  • MSc Top Up Degree Programme

Alongside a small selection of ‘stand-alone’ healthcare modules.

NB: Specialist Public Health and Specialist Community Nursing programmes which are due to be approved by the NMC in Spring 2024 will be independently reviewed as part of the NMC visit.

All work will take place virtually and in an asynchronous manner. A remuneration payment of £300 will be paid to the reviewer.
