The ideal candidates would be suitably qualified nurse academics who are familiar with postgraduate teaching and programme management, and who have previous experience as an external examiner. Appointments will commence at the start of the academic year in 2025-26 and run for four years.

Successful applicants will be responsible for reviewing a range of courses and/or independent projects.

  • Review and evaluate assessment and feedback processes throughout the year
  • Attend the main examination board/s via zoom (February, June and September)
  • Submit an annual external examiner report.
  • Advise the programme team on programme structure and enhancements

Appointments are subject to the University Senate’s criteria for the appointment of external examiners and orientation to the UofG will be provided.
