The School of Health and Social Care within the Faculty of Medicine, Health and Life Science at Swansea University is seeking to appoint external examiners for various routes of the BSc (Hons) Nursing (Adult) for an initial four year period.
The successful applicants will be asked to attend examination boards and submit an annual report for their route following this. External examiners are also required to provide comments on proposed modifications and the development of new modules within their area of expertise.
Essential Criteria:
Experience of delivering pre-registration programmes
Current NMC registration on the appropriate part of the register
Desirable Criteria:
Previous experience as an external examiner
Date of appointment:
March start date: 24/25 – 27/28
September start date: 25/26 – 28/29
Programme details will be provided to the appointee and induction/training offered.
