External Examiner (x2) – Masters in Public Health (MPH)

The Institute of Health and Wellbeing at the University of Glasgow is seeking to appoint two new external examiners for the Masters in Public Health programme (on campus and online) and the MSc in Population Health Sciences (online – in the process of being taught out). These programmes share courses, so we would want our examiners to work over both programmes. External examiners should hold a substantive position at an HEI in the area of Public Health or an adjacent discipline.

Candidate 1 would be responsible for the following courses:

  • Principles of Public Health (MPH – on campus and online)
  • Principles of Population Health Science (PHS – online)
  • Research Methods (MPH – on campus)
  • Environmental Health (MPH – on campus)
  • Oral Health (MPH – on campus)
  • Research Projects (MPH – on campus and online; PHS – online)

Candidate 2 would be responsible for:

  • Introduction to Epidemiology (MPH – on campus and online)
  • Introduction to Statistical Methods (MPH – on campus and online)
  • Further Epidemiology and Statistics (MPH – on campus and online)
  • Advanced Epidemiology (MPH – on campus and online)
  • Advanced Statistics (PHS – online)
  • Research Projects (MPH – on campus and online; PHS – online)
