The Department of Nursing, Midwifery and Health at Northumbria University is seeking the appointment of an External Examiner for the MSc Nursing and MSc Nursing Leadership courses, which were initially developed for international qualified nursing students, but now are open for both international and NMC registered nursing candidates.
Applications are invited from suitably qualified academic staff that have experience of managing and assessing students on the same or similar programmes. Previous experience of external examining would be preferable, but not essential. Support and guidance will be provided for those new to this role.
Programme information:
MSc Nursing and MSc Nursing Leadership – validated 2017 (academic level 7):
• 2 intakes per year, January and September.
• Approximately 10 students per intake.
The appointment will take effect from 1 August 2018, for a four-year term.
