Trainee Nurse Associate (TNA)
Appointment commencing immediately
The post will require consideration of assessments related to several modules of study, regular review of APL processes for new applicants:
All modules are 20 credits:
Year 1: Personal and Professional Development / Law and Ethics for Nursing Associates / A&P / Person Focused care / Communication and Integrated Care / Psychosocial Perspectives in Care Delivery.
Year 2: Promoting Health & Wellbeing / Science of Disease / Evidence Based Practice / Pharmacology and Medicines Management / Health, Social Care and Employability / Supervision & Leadership
Applications are invited from suitably qualified and experienced academic staff. The successful applicant will be invited to attend an induction day prior to commencement of the role.
Responsibilities include commenting on draft assessment guidelines, commenting on draft examination/assessment papers, reviewing samples of students’ work, attending meetings of examiners (up to two per year), and submitting an annual report.
