External Examiner – Sport Rehabilitation

The Faculty of Health Sciences at the University of Hull are looking forward to working with one new External Examiner for the BSc (Hons) Sport Rehabilitation programme.

The duties of the position are as follows:
a) Consideration and moderation of students’ assessments of theory and practice learning.
b) Submission of an External Examiner’s Annual Report
c) Membership and attendance at Boards of Examiners
d) Collaboration with programme directors, module leaders and administrative colleagues to inform the continued monitoring, review and enhancement of these programmes.

External examiner appointments are typically for a period of four years and the appointment is for the start of the 2024 academic year. Applicants must have relevant experience and knowledge of Sport Rehabilitation and must be registered with an appropriate governing body (BASRaT, Society of Sports Therapists, CSP/HCPC). Previous experience as an External Examiner is desirable although not essential.
