The Institute of Health and Social Care is the largest school in London South Bank University with a long-standing reputation for excellence in the education, research and practice development of a variety of health and social care specialists.
The Division of Physiotherapy, Sports Rehabilitation and Chiropractic is seeking to appoint two external examiners for our pre-registration BSc (Hons), Integrated Masters and MSc Physiotherapy programs.
The University operates a two-tier examination board system. External examiners will be appointed to a Subject Area Board where they will oversee a number of academic modules as well as an Award and Progression Examination Board. The Examination Board meets three times a year and there is an expectation that the external examiner will attend at least one Examination Board and submit an annual report to the University.
Applications are invited from suitably qualified academic staff who are registered physiotherapists and hold a minimum of a Master’s degree. All appointments are subject to the candidate meeting the University’s criteria for appointment.
