The department of Allied Health and Sport Science at the University of Huddersfield are seeking to appoint to the position of External Examiner for the BSc (Hons) Paramedic Science and the Paramedic Science Degree Apprenticeship. This will cover a range of modules at level 5 and 6. The External Examiner will be responsible for contributing to the quality assurance of these programmes. You will be involved in the approval of assessment tasks, moderation of student work, completion of an annual report and will be invited to attend examination boards. You may be asked to provide comments on proposed modifications and the development of new modules.
This position will commence in September 2022 for a tenure of 4 years. Applications will be considered from individuals new to the examining role with relevant professional experience. All appointments are subject to meeting the University’s criteria for the appointment of external examiners.
