The University of Northampton is looking for an External Examiner for Podiatry courses as listed below:
BSc (Hons) Podiatry.
BSc (Hons) Podiatry – Apprenticeship route
Level 7 Stand Alone Modules
This will entail attendance of our assessment boards, review of all taught modules and their assessment processes; including review of Dissertation projects, VIVA’s, practical, exam, presentation and assignment-based assessments across level 4, 5 and 6.
As a HCPC and royal college approved and validated course, we can only accept applications from those holding current HCPC registration as a Podiatrist.
We are looking for someone:
- who is suitably qualified with expertise in the above areas, ideally a Course Leader or Senior Lecturer on similar courses;
- previous experience as an external examiner is preferred but not essential
The appointment will be for the four academic years 2025 to 2029, from 1 October 2025.
Please note that we cannot currently accept applications from staff at the following institutions:

- Cardiff Metropolitan
- University East London
The University of Northampton will not appoint an External Examiner from any of our approved partnerships. This information will be checked upon application.
