The Department of Health Sciences at the University of York is a large and multidisciplinary department, offering a broad range of educational programmes in the health and social care field. We are seeking to appoint an external examiner for the Department’s MSc Nursing programme.
External examiners are required to review and evaluate assessment marking; be a member of the Board of Examiners and attend meetings; comment and give advice on programme content, balance and structure; and to complete an annual report as part of the University of York’s quality assurance mechanisms. The University requires external examiners to attend a minimum of one Board of Examiners meeting per year.
All appointments are subject to meeting the University’s criteria for the appointment of external examiners.
The successful applicant would be appointed with effect from March 2024 for a term of four academic years.
