Oxford Brookes University is seeking to appoint an experienced and suitably qualified academic, as external examiner for the Critical and Specialist care undergraduate and postgraduate programmes and associated modules for a period of 4 years starting in September 2022.
The Critical Specialist care offer at Oxford Brookes University comprises four postgraduate certificates:
- PG Cert in Cardiorespiratory Practice
- PG Cert in Emergency Nursing Practice
- PG Cert in Acute Care of the Older Person with Frailty
Each PGCert has 60 credits usually made up of 1 20 and 1 40 credit module with a total of 6 modules across these courses.
In addition, we run several modules in partnership with local NHS employers, which are:
- Introduction to Patient Assessment NURS6019 L6
- Adult Care of the Acutely Ill or Deteriorating Patient NURS6021 L6 & NURS7023 L7
- Comprehensive Assessment of the Person with Frailty HCTR7001 L7
- Acute Care: Assessment and Management of the Acutely Ill Adult L6 NURS6073 & L7 NURS7130
- The Deteriorating Adult Patient L6 NURS6072 & L7 NURS7129
