The University of Northampton is looking for an External Examiner to support its suite of BPS accredited undergraduate Psychology programmes. The successful candidate will provide external examination for a range of modules on our BSc Psychology programme and its associated pathways Counselling Psychology and Developmental and Educational Psychology.
The modules associated with this post are level 5 & 6 Modules in Biological and Cognitive Psychology, The Psychology of Mental Health, and Independent Research in Psychology.
We are looking for an individual:
- who is suitably qualified with expertise in the above areas, ideally a Programme Leader or Senior Lecturer on similar programmes;
- previous experience as an external examiner is preferred but not essential
The appointment will be for the four academic years 2024 to 2028, starting 1 October 2024, or immediate start if appointing after 1 October 2024.
