Edinburgh Napier University is looking to appoint an External Examiner for the BSc Nursing Studies (Global Online) programme. This fully online programme enables registered nurses from diverse locations worldwide to ‘top-up’ their nursing qualifications to degree level. Students complete 6 compulsory modules to gain their degree.
The successful applicant will be expected to cover all theory modules.
Previous experience is desirable but not essential as mentorship can be offered to the successful candidates.
All applicants must be registered with the Nursing and Midwifery Council.
The appointment will commence in Sept 2022 and the tenure is for a period of four years. All External Examiner appointments are subject to approval by the University. External Examiners are expected to attend Board meetings and submit an annual report.
