Wrexham University in North East Wales is looking to appoint an External Examiner for the BSc (Hons) Physiotherapy programme.
Subject content Principle duties will include:
- Verifying assessments;
- Moderating work;
- Attending assessment boards;
Commenting on proposed programme, module enhancements and developments;
The appointment will be for a period of 4 years starting with the academic year September 2024/2025.
Applicants should have subject expertise and teaching of Physiotherapy at Undergraduate level and be a registered Physiotherapist. The applicant should preferably have external examiner experience or have completed Advance HE training . The candidate should also be currently teaching in this subject area and have had curriculum design/development experience relating to higher academic level programmes.
External examiners are expected to review the assessment process and moderate work and attend at least one assessment board during an academic year. An annual payment would be received and this is calculated as part of the nomination process.
