The School of Mental Health and Social Work at Middlesex University is looking to appoint a new External Examiner for our MSc Mental Health and Substance Use (Dual Diagnosis) course. The appointment will commence from September 2025 for a tenure period of four years.
Applicants must be working in UK HE with experience of teaching and examining at postgraduate level in the subject area. External Examiners attend Board of Examiners meetings at least once a year, submit an annual report and review coursework. Further information on the course can be accessed on this link:

The appointment is subject to approval by the University’s scrutiny process. The current fee for an External Examiner is £500 per annum plus reasonable expenses.
