Edge Hill University (Faculty of Health, Social Care and Medicine) is seeking to recruit one external consultant and one external panel member for the validation of the following post qualified programme: Programme title: Post Graduate Certificate in Paediatric Critical Care

We would encourage academics with relevant subject expertise, who have experience of quality review processes within their own and other Higher Education Institutions, to apply. The Faculty of Health, Social Care and Medicine is situated within the University’s Ormskirk Campus.
An External Consultant: would be required to review the draft curriculum documentation and provide written comments, which would be provided as supporting evidence at the revalidation. The consultant would not be required to attend the approval event itself.
Consultation would take place 1st week of May 2022.
An External Panel Member would receive documentation prior to the event date and is requested to provide written comments in advance of the event – they would then attend 1 half day of the event via MS Teams – attendance on:
17th June 2022.
Arrangements
Externals involved in validation normally receive a standard fee of £201.73 (equivalent of 20 hours’ work) before tax which is deducted at the standard rate, plus travel and subsistence for one visit to the University. The entitlement to pro-rata holiday is incorporated in to the hourly rate of pay.
