The University of South Wales are seeking to appoint the Dean of the Faculty of Life Sciences and Education.

The Faculty of Life Sciences and Education excels at immersive learning with some of the best facilities in the UK, providing practical settings that replicate and prepare students for the workplace. Its portfolio is built on strong partnerships and makes a significant contribution in areas of health, crime justice security, and education, and we see that continuing across the portfolio.
The Dean will provide strategic leadership for the Faculty, drive the highest standards of quality across the portfolio and in research and commercial activity, building reputation and market share. The successful candidate will have the creative vision, strategic perspective and commercial acumen to deliver the University’s ambitious 2030 strategy, and the standing to lead and promote the Faculty and contribute to the leadership of the University. Reporting to the Deputy Vice-Chancellor, the Dean will work collaboratively with the other three faculties for interdisciplinary innovation, and with professional departments for excellent service quality and efficiency. They will have an inclusive and ambitious approach to leadership reflecting the University’s core values of ‘Professional, Responsive, Creative, Inspiring and Collaborative’.
