Support and nurture apprentices every step of their journey
Rising to meet the demands of apprenticeships, you’ll help nurture and support learners every step of the way – empowering passionate individuals who are new to the profession as they build the essential knowledge, skills and behaviours linked to the standard. We are looking for highly motivated, practitioner-experienced candidates to bring high quality support, nurture and develop talent within the sector. The overall purpose of the role is to support apprentices to develop their knowledge, skills, and behaviours to successfully complete their apprenticeship.
What you’ll be doing
- Undertaking regular progress Reviews and providing feedback apprentices on their progress against knowledge skills and behaviours relevant to their apprenticeship standard.
- Ensuring that accurate, detailed documentation and data base tracking is kept up to date for apprentices.
- Providing monthly performance update on learners and progress reviews with learners and line managers.
- Communicating effectively with apprentices via the Hub and other appropriate tools and actively encourage learner engagement with their programmes using resources available.
- Other activities as and when required by the school in relation to apprentices’ engagement and progression.
- Undertake peer reviews of coaches in other schools.

- Current NMC registration
- Experience working in an education environment
- Comprehensive knowledge and understanding of apprenticeships
- Ability to build strong stakeholder relationships
- Ability to provide appropriate feedback to apprentices against apprenticeship standard
- Ability to hold professional and developmental review meetings with apprentices and line managers
- Organisational skills
- Time management skills
The successful candidate will be required to undergo an Enhanced DBS check.
