Clinical Teacher in Occupational Therapy

Opening Date:
23 May 2022
Closing Date:
19 Jun 2022
Salary Range:

We are seeking an enthusiastic, innovative, solution focused occupational therapist who has experience of working across clinical and practice placement settings.

You will have the opportunity to use your knowledge and experience innovatively, working with our senior Occupational Therapy academics to scope and develop a new occupational therapy clinic at the university. You will also set up the practice placement offer and explore new placement models in the clinic and support a range of projects.

You will work collaboratively with our academic staff, our students and our service user and carer group and partner organisations to continually improve and develop our programme and develop new opportunities.

This post would also offer you support in developing your academic career. We will support you to develop your skills in areas of associated academic activity such as assessment, marking and curriculum development.

We welcome applicants who bring a diversity of professional and/or lived experience from across communities who are currently underrepresented in our teams, including individuals from BME and LGBT+ communities, who would be positive role models for our students, colleagues and service users.

The University offers an attractive range of staff benefits, including a discounted Gym membership and will support relocation assistance. We are also open to discussing potential secondments or working arrangements with current employers.

Due to the sensitive nature of this post, applicants will be required to disclose details of any criminal record including convictions, cautions, reprimands and final warnings and any other information, which may have a bearing on their suitability for the post. The University of Bradford is an equal opportunities employer and disclosure need not necessarily be a bar to obtaining the position.

Informal enquiries prior to application can be made to Rob Brooks r.brooks2@bradford.ac.uk.
