This post provides a rare and exciting opportunity to join the senior leadership team within the School of Health Sciences. You will have specific responsibility for providing direction and leadership for the clinical practice & placement development provision of multiple healthcare programmes within the School. The post holder will contribute to the School’s continued commitment to develop high quality practice learning, and also maintain and develop practice placements across a range of traditional and novel settings.
We are looking for an articulate, dynamic and highly motivated individual, with a track record of practice and placement development activity in the healthcare field. You will have well developed interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate with a diverse array of stakeholders across multiple interfaces. The successful applicant will have an established skill set and experience of; influencing & leading others, managing change, academic leadership and effective team building. You will effectively utilise these well-developed communication skills, to motivate and lead the different programme teams, through new and established practice learning opportunities.
Applicants should have experience in the design, delivery and quality assurance of clinical programmes and a qualification registrable with the HCPC or NMC. This post is available initially for a three-year period.
