We are seeking knowledgeable and skilled individuals to join our successful and highly committed team and further enhance our rapidly expanding multi-professional MSc Advanced Clinical Practice (ACP) programmes (direct entry and apprentices). Previous experience of teaching and leading is highly desirable and your application should detail your areas of clinical/teaching experience and expertise. We are looking for an individual with expertise in Advanced. Part-time and Secondment arrangements will be considered.

The Department provides high quality, research-rich education using a variety of innovative teaching and learning methods delivered at all academic levels from undergraduate to doctoral study. You will be expected to facilitate teaching, learning, and assessment, and engage in student support for our MSc Advanced Clinical Practice provision. Additionally, you will be supported to develop and deliver modules in your sphere of clinical expertise.

The postholder will also work flexibly as part of a team to contribute to teaching, learning and assessment and research to support a high-quality student experience in both pre-registration and post-registration health programmes. You will participate in the planning, designing and development of undergraduate and postgraduate health programmes, as well as pastoral tutoring. You will provide expertise to further enhance research and entrepreneurial activities. This will include undertaking individual and collaborative research that demonstrates impact and involvement in external activities which may include academic enterprise.

You must possess excellent knowledge of the subject area you are considering applying for and have active professional registration with the Nursing & Midwifery Council (NMC), Health & Care Professions Council (HCPC), General Pharmaceutical Council (GPC) or General Medical Council (GMC). You must hold a Master’s degree in a related area or be qualified to Doctoral level. You need to have subject expertise in advanced practice with specialist knowledge gained through research activity, professional practice, or consultancy.
