The School of Health, Wellbeing and Social Care is seeking to appoint 3x external examiners for their Future Nurse Curriculum BSc programme, for a four-year period. Successful applicants will be required to attend cluster and assessment examination boards, moderate and scrutinise submitted student assessment, approve draft assessments and mark schemes, review examples of student work, review data on the module results, review credit transfer applications, attend a progression board (virtually) and complete an examiner report. Further information is detailed in ‘The role of External Examiners at the OU’ and is available on request.
Essential Criteria:
- Experience in delivering pre-registration programmes
- Current NMC registration on the appropriate part of the register
Desirable Criteria:
- Previous experience as an external examiner
