The School of Sport, Exercise & Rehabilitation Sciences is one of five Schools within the Faculty of Health Sciences at the University of Hull. To support future undergraduate occupational therapy provision, we are seeking to appoint a full-time permanent Senior Lecturer in Occupational Therapy. The post holder will take the lead role in developing the curriculum for this new undergraduate programme and will work with the PSRBs to gain relevant approvals. They will also teach across a range of modules on the programme and supervise undergraduate students, including practice placements. You will be educated to a minimum of a bachelor’s degree level or equivalent and preferably have completed a Master’s degree in a relevant subject. You will be registered with the HCPC as an Occupational Therapist and have significant clinical experience. Experience of teaching Occupational Therapy students is also essential, and you will hold a post-graduate certificate in education.

You should have good organisational, inter-personal, and communication skills, a student-centered approach, and have a passion for research and enterprise activities as well as continued professional development.
