Salary: £23,784 -£28,420 (full time equivalent £39,641 – £ 47,368)

Salary from 01 August 2023 will be: £24,343- £29,211 (full time equivalent £40,573- £48,686)

This is a part time role, working 21 hours per week/0.6 FTE (for nominal purposes).

This is an exciting time to join our programme. The department consists of a small and dynamic team and delivers a range of courses in Nursing and Public Health undergraduate and postgraduate courses. We pride ourselves on equipping students with training needed to enter high-level management roles in the nursing and healthcare sector with courses designed in consultation with the NHS to ensure students get the skills needed for future employment.

This is an exciting and fulfilling opportunity where you will be delivering educational activities to undergraduate nursing students as well as contributing to the continuous development of the programme. In this role you will support teaching at undergraduate level and assist the with the development and promotion of teaching, related research and external engagement activities.

To be successful in this role, you will need to have a Master’s degree or equivalent experience in Nursing and NMC registration as a Registered Adult Nurse. In addition, you will have proven experience of teaching within a higher education or clinical setting. An ability to provide a high quality teaching and learning experience is a must, as is the ability to use online teaching tools. You will also have strong teamwork, collaboration and organisational skills.
