The MSc Advanced Clinical Practice Apprenticeship is delivered part -time within the School of Nursing and Midwifery, University of Worcester. It attracts a range of healthcare professionals from around the region. As an integrated degree apprenticeship learners undertake an End Point Assessment (EPA) at the end of the apprenticeship, which is an independent assessment of the knowledge, skills and behaviours of the apprenticeship standard https://www.instituteforapprenticeships.org/apprenticeship-standards/advanced-clinical-practitioner-integrated-degree-v1-0 .
University of Worcester is the End Point Assessment Organisation (EPAO) and is seeking to appoint a suitably qualified independent assessor to conduct the End Point Assessment for the End Point Assessment module (20 level 7 credits) on the MSc Advanced Clinical Practice Apprenticeship, from academic year 2024/5 onwards. The Independent Assessor will work collaboratively with the programme team to develop, and quality assure assessment materials and take an active first marker role in the assessment process. The EPA period is expected to commence in May 2025 (dates to be confirmed) and training will be provided for this role.
To apply for this role you will need to have:
- Current registration with the Nursing and Midwifery Council or Health and Care Professions Council
- A minimum of 3 years working in an Advanced Clinical Practice field in an educational or clinical setting
- Completed a minimum of a full master’s degree in Advanced Clinical Practice or Advanced Practice
- A minimum of 3 years in making assessment judgements at master’s level
- No involvement in the Advanced Clinical Practice Apprenticeship development or delivery at University of Worcester.
