The School of Nursing in the Faculty of Health and Care at the University of Central Lancashire is seeking to appoint external examiners for the following programmes:
- FdA/FCert Health and Social Care (UCLan Preston & Burnley, Cardinal Newman, Hugh Baird, Furness, Blackburn, Wigan & Leigh Colleges)
- FdA/FCert Health and Social Care (Mental Health) (UCLan Preston & Burnley College)
The successful applicants must be associated with related programmes. Applications are invited from suitably qualified and experienced academic staff.
Salary Range: £280.
Induction material is provided to support new and existing applicants. If you are new to external examining, you will be able to access a robust support system to support EE reports and attendance at the course assessment boards.
The External Examiner will be expected to review planned assessments, sample of assessment completed by students, write a required reports as part of the role, and attend the progression board. All appointments are subject to the candidate meeting the University’s criteria for appointment.
