The College of Health, Science and Society at UWE Bristol is seeking a Field External Examiner to support modules contributing to Nuclear Medicine programmes commencing on 01/10/2023. The post will be for 4 years and includes the need to attend various examination boards.

The subject cluster requires a Field External Examiner to represent a range of academic perspectives within Nuclear Medicine, covering the MSc Nuclear Medicine programme which is accredited by SCOR together with CPD modules (mixture of level 6 and 7). Examples of modules are as follows; however, you may be required to look at modules outside of this subject area:

  • Anatomy and Pathology in Cross Sectional Imaging
  • Computed Tomography Technology
  • Cross-Sectional Anatomy For The Nuclear Medicine Practitioner
  • Current Applications of Hybrid Imaging Practice
  • Enhancing Nuclear Medicine Practice
  • Evidencing Work Based Learning
  • Fundamental Applications of Computed Tomography
  • Fundamental Clinical Skills in Nuclear Medicine Practice
  • Practice Learning and Student Support
  • Practice Learning and Student Support
  • Reporting Skills in Nuclear Medicine
  • Science And Instrumentation In Current Nuclear Medicine Practice

You will be required to attend examination boards during the year and complete an annual report.
