The School of Health Sciences, University of Dundee is seeking to appoint an External Examiner for modules in our post-registration portfolio including the MSc Advanced Practice, MSc Nursing and BSc programmes. These include clinical modules and dissertations. It is desirable for applicants to have experience in clinical assessment and/or acute care. Other modules may also be included subject to negotiation.
The University requires that External Examiners have qualifications at least equivalent to the Programme being examined, so the successful applicant will possess a Masters Degree and should be NMC registered. A teaching qualification relevant to Higher Education is also essential for this post. We would welcome applications from both those with and those without previous external examining experience and would be delighted to offer support and guidance to any successful candidates who are new to external examining.
All appointments will be from 1 January 2022 and will be initially for a four-year period.
