The School of Health at Leeds Beckett University is looking to appoint an External Examiner for our CPD scheme for nurses and allied health professionals. In addition to standalone CPD modules, the scheme offers the following courses:

  • MSc Advanced Clinical Practice, a standard course and a degree apprenticeship (integrated End-Point Assessment), which include Non-Medical Prescribing programmes (NMC and HCPC approved).
  • BSc (Hons) Health and Community Care level 6 and MSc Health and Community Care, to join one other examiner for CPD modules on these awards.

Applicants must be registered with the NMC, be working in UK HE with experience of teaching and examining at postgraduate level in the subject area, and ideally have some prior experience of degree apprenticeships.

The appointment commences on 1 November 2024 and tenure is for a four year period. External Examiners attend Board of Examiners meetings at least once a year, submit an annual report and review coursework.
